Adult/Child/Infant CPR & AED
Why learn CPR & AED?
By learning how to properly perform CPR, you can help buy time until medical assistance arrives in an emergency. So the answer is simple to why learning CPR: CPR saves lives! Perhaps not everyone knows that many cardiac arrests occur in the home or in places where a doctor is not usually present. That means it's critical to acquire CPR and first aid skills to be ready anytime, anywhere.
This CPR/AED course uses the latest ECC update to prepare students to handle respiratory and cardiac emergencies, particularly sudden cardiac arrest. Specifically, students will have the opportunity to become familiar with recognizing cardiac arrest, using cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and using an automated external defibrillator (AED). Not only that, students will learn how to properly use a pocket mask and bag valve mask to perform emergency rescue breaths. Finally, you will learn about the signs, symptoms and proper response of an adult choking and stroke victim.
Note: This class has versions to respond to adults and pediatrics. You can get trained in adult, pediatric, or adult & pediatric.
Who is Adult/Child/Infant CPR & AED Training for?
As we said, CPR & AED training can be useful to anyone. The training is suitable for all those who, even without experience in the medical or health field, want for personal, professional or regulatory reasons to obtain a certificate that enables the proper use of automatic external defibrillator (AED) and the execution of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on people (adults, children and infants) suffering from sudden cardiac arrest.
