About Us

Life Safety Institute is a New Hampshire Department of Education licensed postsecondary career school headquartered in Concord, NH. Life Safety Institute is also approved by the New Hampshire Department of Safety to provide initial EMS education to prospective Emergency Medical Responders (EMR), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), and Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMT).

Life Safety Institute also provides continuing education or “ConEd” to New Hampshire Fire Departments, Third Services, EMS Agencies, and other pre-hospital providers. Life Safety Institute is an American Heart Association Training Site able to provide HeartSaver, BLS Provider, ACLS, Provider, and PALS Provider courses. We also provide HeartSaver Instructor, BLS Instructor, ACLS Instructor, and PALS Instructor training. Once trained we continue to support our instructors with support, equipment, education materials, and course roster processing.

Life Safety Institute goes above and beyond for its students. We have a partnership with Granite State College granting our graduates who achieve national certification college credits as well as 20% off in-state tuition. We are also the first and only WIOA approved EMT program in the state of New Hampshire. This allows eligible candidates who are under or unemployed to receive part or all of their tuition to be paid for by the state.
